In a recent statement posted to their website the museum states, We have consulted with experts invested in hospital-grade disinfecting methodologies followed federal, state, and local guidelines and reimagined our exhibit experiences to provide a welcoming, clean, and low-touch Museum experience for all. Although the scheduled reopening is slated for the end of April, members will be able to access the museum starting April 8th. Now the Please Touch Museum is poised to reopen its doors on April 22nd. At one point the museum cut its staff down to 75% and was operating with a skeleton crew of only 18 employees before they decided to shut down operations.
